Women

Women@HT

We run events for Women @ HT, both to help us grow in faith and discipleship and also to give us opportunities to invite our friends along.

Mother's Union

The Mothers’ Union at Holy Trinity is an active small part of a very large worldwide organisation (www.mothersunion.org). The aim of every member wherever they may be is “to be specially concerned with all that strengthens and preserves marriage and Christian family life”.

Membership is open to anyone (male and female) who has been baptised and agrees with the purpose of MU.

We hold two monthly meetings

- a prayer meeting on the first Tuesday

- prayers, talks and other activities on the second Thursday.

Contact the HT Committee via the Church Office to find out about the next meeting.

Men

Holy Trinity enjoys an active Men's Ministry which aims to encourage and equip the faith of all men across our congregations.

Our programme has a heavy emphasis on fellowship, which often includes food.

Men's Breakfast - monthly, Saturday morning

Hungry? Come and join us at one of our regular monthly men's breakfasts down at the Sun Pub in Redhill. A great chance to get to know other men from across the life of HT. Just turn up.

Adults with Learning Disabilities

Friends of Jesus

Friends of Jesus is HT's group for adults with learning disabilities. We meet monthly, usually on the first Tuesday, from 7.15pm - 9.00pm, and enjoy worship and learning from the Bible. Our sessions have a simple lesson along with music, drama, art and occasionally dance. Birthdays are celebrated.

We always have fun together and finish the evening with refreshments around a long table. A member described the group as 'one big happy family'!

Please contact Claire Gray via the Church Office for more details.

Other Groups

Monday Drop In

Our Monday Drop In is intended to help combat loneliness and isolation, as well as a warm welcome in the colder months. It runs in the church building on Mondays 10.30am-12noon with hot drinks, toast and cake. It offers time to relax over a paper or a puzzle, or space to chat with others.

Wayfarers

Wayfarers is the HT Walking Group. Our walks are normally on weekday mornings and vary in length between 3 and 5 miles, with the occasional longer walk. Walking together is a simple, inexpensive, and sociable way to take exercise, which can improve health and reduce stress. It also enables us to enjoy some of the wonderful countryside God has provided in our local area.

All Sorts

Each summer there is All Sorts - a ‘holiday at home’ for the over 50s. This is an extremely popular week with coach outings, social events, talks and activities. There are occasional outings or events at other times of the year.

Coffee, Cake, Create & Chatter

A chance to meet together, to relax and be creative. Whether you love knitting, sewing, sticking, drawing, painting or anything else crafty!

Bring your current craft project or start something new with us. Very informal and all ages are welcome. Did we mention that there's cake? Check the church calendar for our next date.

Redhill Market Bookstall

A group from Holy Trinity runs a bookstall in Redhill market on one Saturday each month. Our aim is to encourage people to consider the claims of Jesus by talking with them over a cup of coffee or tea and snacks.

We offer a wide range of free gospels and leaflets in languages from Albanian through to Urdu, and along with members of other churches in Redhill who join us, our focus is to point to Jesus. We have had interesting and profitable conversations with a very wide range of people from diverse cultural and religious backgrounds, including
atheists, Hindus, Buddhists, Muslims, Jews, Greek Orthodox and a Reiki healer. We certainly have had conversations about Jesus that wouldn’t have occurred if we hadn’t been there.

Get in touch with the team via the church office if you want to know more or would like to get involved.
