Engagement in our community

Homelessness/Poverty happens throughout the year and is happening today and on our doorstep here in Redhill and our local area. Poverty and homelessness can happen to anyone: young or old; single or families with babies and children; people facing tough financial situations, who lose their jobs and homes.

Christians from the churches in Redhill and Reigate have been addressing the needs of homeless/disadvantaged/marginalised people in our neighbourhood.

Since Advent Sunday 2012 at Holy Trinity, we have collected foodstuffs and essentials for local needy people. We help the Reigate and Banstead Winter Night Shelter, which runs from December to February, staffed by 500 volunteers. Throughout the rest of the year we support the Redhill Salvation Army, which supports families and individuals throughout the year.

You can donate foodstuffs, toiletries etc throughout the year. Please place donated items in the big blue bucket in the church foyer.
