Connected by Prayer
‘Unless the Lord builds the house, the builders labour in vain.’ Psalm 127:1
“Our Connected building project is about more than bricks and mortar: it is about providing new facilities that will enable us and future generations to continue proclaiming the Gospel by which men, women and children can be connected to God.” – Mick Hough, Vicar of Holy Trinity
A key part of our Connected Building Project is that it is underpinned by prayer. We want to ensure that we are seeking God’s good plan for our Church and our buildings. We want to ensure that they will serve our local community as well as our Church Family. Why not join us for our monthly prayer meetings on Saturday mornings? We usually begin at 8.45am with tea/coffee and a bite to eat then pray together 9-9.30am. Look out for the date of the next prayer meeting in the church notices.
Heavenly Father, may Holy Trinity Church be a place where people meet with Jesus, grow in the knowledge of his love, and serve you in the power and the joy of your Holy Spirit. May our Connected activities lead us to connect more deeply with you, more lovingly with one another and more colosely with our community, in this generation and gernartions to come. In Jesus' name we pray.
